“Nailed To The Cross“, a brand new lyrics video from metallers Metal Machine, can be viewed here. The track is taken from the band’s new album, “Free Nation“, which was released on October 24 via Dream Records. The video was created by Gustavo Freeze at Elborato Productions in Spain and edited by Axel W. of RockNGrowl.
Zvekan comments, “Nailed To The Cross is a great rocker in mid tempo. The story about two people and their co-dependenc in a very bad way. The figure of speech.”
Metal Machine recently posted an exclusive video interview with mastermind and singer “Csaba Zvekan“: link
Metal Machine is pure heavy metal with high pitch screams, thrashy riffs, blast beats drumming and powerful bass lines.

Disperse inject fresh momentum into the progressive genre. On their second full-length 'Living Mirrors' this young Polish band demonstrates that they have learned the essential grammar of their musical language by heart. There are moments of hovering fluidity taken from the void left by Pink Floyd. You will find the complexities of cascading syncopated breaks, odd-time signatures and all these tools of trade that Dream Theater brought close to perfection. And most of all, there is a strong undercurrent of Cynic’s playful approach in elegantly fusing hard metal sounds with just any style they deem appropriate ranging from jazz to electronic elements. Yet although Disperse reveal their roots, they already managed to shape a sound of their own on debut album 'Journey Through The Hidden Gardens' (2010). This was the fruit of long and hard labour since their founding in the Polish city of Przeworsk in December 2007. Disperse released a demo entitled 'Promo 2008' and quickly gained a reputation as an excellent live band, which earned them an invitation to the prestigious GO-Rock Festival among others. Their reputation spread rapidly and international shows including the UK Tech-Metal Fest in Alton as well as the Euroblast Festival in Germany followed. 'Living Mirrors' is witness to the Poles' amazingly fast growing skills as creative songwriters. There is a maturity and confidence in their arrangements that emphasise the melodic flow instead of utilising their considerable technical skills for self-service and showing off. Disperse make progressive rock and metal seem easy. Yet listen closely and you find an ocean full of amazing details!

Hate Eternal have announced Chason Westmoreland as their new drummer. The native of Las Vegas, USA has already laid down drum tracks for the band's forthcoming new album, which title and release date are yet to be announced. Westmoreland will also be joining the band on their ensueing tour cycle, which is scheduled to begin in spring 2015.
Twenty-five year old Chason Westmoreland has been behind the drum kit since the tender age of five, and internationally touring with renowned acts such as Fallujah, Burning The Masses, Enfold Darkness, and Oceano. Recent tour footage of the new Hate Eternal sticksman can be viewed here, while a collage of fresh behind-the-scenes studio footage and further details can be found at SickDrummer.com.
Hate Eternal founder and principal member Erik Rutan (guitar, vocals) comments on Westmoreland joining the band: "Chason is such an amazing talent and a very determined guy. He came down to try out in June and literally blew us away! We bonded instantly musically and personally, and JJ and I knew he was the right guy and drummer for Hate Eternal. Chason has a high motor, hits hard, plays fast and is a very diverse and dynamic player. The drums on this album have a very primal and visceral feel to them and I think he did a tremendous job on the recording. I cannot wait for us to get on tour and deliver the goods!"
Westmoreland states on joining the band and his contribution to the new album: "I am extremely honored to join Hate Eternal. The new material is very challenging and has a lot going on. I put everything I had into this album and I'm very excited about the results. I cannot wait to see what the future holds and get on the road with our new album!"
Recently signed to Season of Mist, Hate Eternal have been one of the leading death metal acts worldwide for over eighteen years. The band's five full-length albums are considered crucial genre touchstones, and Hate Eternal are a proven headliner across five continents.
Erik Rutan and bassist/vocalist J.J. Hrubovcak are still holed up in the bandleader's Mana Recording Studio (Cannibal Corpse, Mountain Goats, Goatwhore) and hard at work at the new Hate Eternal album, which is tentatively scheduled for early 2015.
Regarding the recording and the signing Rutan commented: "We are ecstatic about how the recording for our new album has been coming out so far, and our new label and home Season of Mist. We've worked very hard on crafting these songs to reflect our path, from our past to the present, and the journey of Hate Eternal and its members. Writing this album was a long and arduous process. It took a tremendous amount of determination, blood, and sweat to bring this all to fruition. We're super proud of what we've accomplished creatively, and excited at the prospect of releasing what we feel is our most powerful Hate Eternal material to date. Now it is time to bring this all to life! The recording process so far has been fantastic. I've never felt so focused and determined on a Hate Eternal record, and I know that this will be an album our listeners and supporters will truly appreciate. It represents an important milestone for me personally since 15 years ago both Hate Eternal began recording its first album and Mana Recording Studios was born. We have so much more news to share with you over the coming months. We cannot wait for you to hear this album!"
Steamhammer/SPV are set to start into the new year 2015 with a new promising US Metal band: Hailing from the city of Ventura an hour north of Los Angeles, Night Demon is a classic metal trio consisting of Jarvis Leatherby (bass, vocals), Brent Woodward (guitars) and Dusty Squires (drums) . The band has completed work on their debut full-length album Curse Of The Damned, featuring eleven brand new original tracks, and is slated for an early 2015 release on January 14 (Scandinavia), January 16 (Germany) and January 19 (rest of Europe) as CD, LP (+ bonus track) and download.
Night Demon unite the three members’ musical inspirations and influences ranging from old-school metal greats such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Diamond Head, Angel Witch, Riot and Saxon to punk legends The Misfits. But whilst the band`s music proudly exhibits these roots, it does so in a manner contemporary with modern times in every aspect.
Night Demon released their self-titled debut EP in April 2013, and to coincide with their massively extensive Europe tour of Spring 2014, they put out an expanded edition of the EP with four additional tracks. The Europe tour saw Night Demon successfully sign a european record deal with Steamhammer/SPV. They are currently garnering new converts in every town on a full North American Fall 2014 tour with Raven, and are primed for plenty of solid worldwide touring in the immediate and long-term future.

Kaotoxin Records has announced worldwide release dates for Eye Of Solitude limited collector EP Dear Insanity. Featuring one mammoth 50-minute title track, the EP will be available in France on November 24, the rest of Europe on December 2, and in North America on December 3. The album is available as a limited-edition (500 copies at first press), hand-numbered double digi-CD, featuring six bonus tracks taken from the band's 2012 & 2013 digital EPs - Awoken by Crows and The Deceit - and as a digital download.
A video trailer for the EP can be viewed at this location.
Eye Of Solitude have always explored new territories. The journey includes the monolithic yet at times gothic metal-ish Sui Caedere; the Dante's "Inferno"-based theatrical play of Canto III (Kaotoxin's best-seller to date!), 2013 EP The Deceit, which featured guest vocals by both We All Die (Laughing) vocalists Arno Strobl (CinC / Carnival In Coal, 6:33) and Déhà (COAG, Maladie); and now Dear Insanity, which sees the band entering the darkest part of their desolate world for a 50-minute funeral veil of misery, agony and loss.
The loss of loved ones, the loss of sanity, the feeling of being lost in a mental labyrinth to which the only exit is to become mad to appease the suffering with all the anguish, anxiety and pain it involves. What if the only options infinite pain or the complete loss of one's mind? There's no light, no hope. There's no way out. Never has the "Solitude" portion of the band's name been so well musically represented. Dear Insanity is a transformation, a passage, a slow-motion fall from the celestial grace into a bottomless downward spiral to the most abyssal darkness.
Dear Insanity is recommended for fans of Skepticism, Esoteric, and Khanate.

No need for big words. We are very glad an Austrian legend is coming back. Schirenc Plays Pungent Stench.
The day Pungent Stench disbanded in 2007 marked the loss of one of death metal's most unique originators...and the calls for a reunion have not ceased ever since.
Although dissappointed by the sudden split, founding member singer/guitarist Martin „El Cochino“ Schirenc continued to release music and play concerts with various other projects, before he finally agreed to attend a Pungent Stench tribute show in Istanbul, where he played several songs from his former band under the moniker „The Church of Pungent Stench“. Supported by Mike Gröger (Hollenthon) on drums, as well as Hakan Nurcanlı (Art Diktator) on bass, this 2011 concert was a huge success. Subsequently, Schirenc received numerous offers from various promoters to also bring this show to other cities.
It wasn’t until 2013 that Schirenc finally agreed to take „The Church of Pungent Stench“ on the road to grace stages worldwide. The new line up continued to feature Mike on drums, but also introduced a new bass player, Danny Vacuum, known for his involvement with bands like Genocide S.S., Necrony, and The Accidents. The first show took place at the Eindhoven Metal Meeting and only marked the beginning of a successful series of appearances at the biggest festivals in Europe (Graspop Metal Meeting, Hellfest, Brutal Assault, Bang Your Head, Barroselas Metalfest, Neurotic Deathfest) and the USA (Maryland Deathfest, 70.000 Tons of Metal).
Due to a legal dispute, the band was forced to change it’s name and is now touring as „Schirenc plays Pungent Stench“. However, the mission remains the same: bringing the music of Austria’s sickest band back to life and keeping the flame burning by refusing to praise the ashes!!!

Death metal legend Centinex from Sweden to come back to OEF after 12 years.
It is a year after year repeated cliche but also virtually a certainty. Obscene Extreme Festival in connection with Swedish death metal is an evergreen. There is another special squad for the upcoming volume. Centinex! A band that called it a day in 2006 to start again in January 2014 which is not as important as the year of origin – 1990!!!
Old school Swedish death metal! A couple of words that are able to get true fans pretty excited. Be assured Centinex are more than the right guys as those in the line-up have gone through or are members of bands like Demonical, Uncanny or Interment. D.e.a.t.h. M.e.t.a.l.!!!
One of the essential hardcore bands of the English scene – Satanic Malfunctions.
The return of a legend – Satanic Malfunctions. Legendary band from Scarborough, England is back. Formed at the end of 80`s they played noisy hardcore/thrashcore mosh in the vein of Siege, Heresy, Lärm or Cryptic Slaughter with melodic punk songs á la Active Minds and political or animal rights lyrics.
This is a piece of history of British hardcorepunk that inspired an array of bands from all around the world. Having a new (rejuvenated) line-up they have been torturing the ears of all true, old and young fans since some time. It will be their first performance at Obscene Extreme 2015 however!!!
Death metal plague spreading to Trutnov. Broken Hope.
A putrid blast of air means that a nightmare burried a long time ago is coming near, black plague that has been recalled to life in the swamp of eternally decaying guts. Yes, merciless, heavyweight machine called Broken Hope from Illinois is rushing to grind your brains. Hibernated for a long time they are back with a new record Omen of Disease, organic brutal death metal mixed with a fair portion of sickness that is even more destroying than on their great album Loathing or extremely raw debut Swamped in Gore from 1991. And these are the albums that have become unqestionably the classics of brutal death metal genre.
So be looking forward to this mutated monster to smash not only your ear canals and to fucking kick your ass but also to open a new dimension of fear and perversity in your mind as a bonus. Do not forget all your hopes will be drowned in the mud of Trutnov Battlefieled at OEF 2015!!!
Blood with a special "Impulse To Destroy" set for OEF 2015.
Legendary German grindcore squad being around since almost 30 years to perform at OEF 2015 in a bit different way. After by now classical and cult sets at Obscene Extreme (2000, 2004 a 2012) it will be with the original singer Martin „Chicken-Witchskinner“ for the first time and Blood will play a special „Impulse To Destroy“ set!!!
Yes, it is true. Their big debut LP from 1989! History and Blood! A band that belongs long-since to the legends like Agathocles, Impetigo, Dead Infection or Psycho. Obscene Extreme 2015!!!

At long last, German black metal tyrants Ascension unveil their highly anticipated second album, The Dead of the World, set for European release on December 24th via W.T.C. Productions (Season of Mist will handle the North American release). Previewed by theDeathless Light EP, Ascension's The Dead of the World is a grandiose work of bold creativity and boundless imagination, of brilliant illumination and obsidian depth, all under the banner of orthodox black metal. The band's debut album, 2010's Consolamentum, became a classic in the underground not long after its release; it evinced a wealth of maturity in composition and execution for such a new band. Here, the quintet eclipse that accomplishment with a seven-song salvo that's the epitome of Album Experience. Every part is where it needs to be; every song flows from the other; there is a whole, and it is a black HOLE. From its innermost depths, Ascension drive onward and outward, their control of dynamics startling for mere "black metal," their passion, fervor, and professionalism far beyond those who supposedly uphold that genre. Joining Ascension in their peerless endeavor here are The Magus (Necromantia, Thou Art Lord, Principality of Hell) and Mors Dalos Ra (Necros Christos), who both respectively provide guest vocals on The Dead of the World. Black metal may be dead for all intents and purposes, but not for Ascension, for they show you The Dead of the World. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

1. The Silence of Abel
2. Death's Golden Temple

Today, Italian black metal mavericks Fides Inversa stream their entirety of their forthcoming second album, Mysterium Tremendum et Fascinans - set for international release on October 31st via W.T.C. Productions - at Decibel magazine's website. In the five years since their Osmose-released debut, Hanc Aciem Sola Retundit Virtus (The Algolagnia Divine), Fides Inversa have been honing their onstage assault all across the stages of Europe, their rituals becoming real celebrations of zealotry. That experience surely shows across the bold, finessed canvas of Mysterium Tremendum et Fascinans, where "black metal" is rendered not as a definition but as an alternately life-giving/life-destroying force. Classicist yet paying no lip service to tradition, Fides Inversa invested their very souls in the creation of this second opus: exhaustive spiritual research and a total immersion inside the darkest manifestations of what the German theologist Rudolf Otto called "the numinous." The divine, in its most terrifying forms, takes life from chaotic sounds and revealed words whose intent is to represent the mystic terror and the undefeatable fascination of Death, the human nullification, in favor of a complete prostration to the One whose light is spread out of the darkest vacuum. Ascend and descend with Fides Inversa's Mysterium Tremendum et Fascinans exclusively here, courtesy of Decibel, North America's only monthly metal magazine. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Today, Greek black metal mavericks Thy Darkened Shade premiere a truly haunting video for the new track "Revival Through Arcane Skins". The song hails from the band's highly anticipated second album, Liber Lvcifer I: Khem Sedjet, set for international release on October 31st via W.T.C. Productions. Bolder and brasher than the Greeks' celebrated Eternvs Mos, Nex Ritvs debut, Liber Lvcifer I: Khem Sedjet is a sprawling and serpentine work, a daring and diabolical monument to the eternal light of esoteric illumination. At the core of Thy Darkened Shade's aesthetic is the band's profound and intensely studied lyricism. As the serpents of Eden, they are both the shining and the shadows, and consequently know the illusions of good and evil since they originate from the source: Or She-ein Bo Mahshavah, the solitary true light. Thy Darkened Shade are those few who have the wisdom to overcome, the sovereignty to become something evolved, in the forms and likeness of their gods. Across Liber Lvcifer I: Khem Sedjet's 78-minute runtime, many names are hailed, amongst them - Satan, Loki, Typhon, Set, Ahriman, Lucifer, Prometheus, Kingu - and the band explore myriad routes toward that burning, searing illumination. But as labyrinthine as Liber Lvcifer I: Khem Sedjet is and its pathways at times beguiling and treacherous, here black metal music serves a greater purpose: the Promethean mantras lead Thy Darkened Shade and the blood of Qayin binds them towards acausal freedom. "We possess everything we need to destroy all illusions; we are the children of Lucifer - we shine in grandeur and might." Thus begins the age of Acausal Necrosophic Black Metal: witness a visual feast of its arcane mysteries and decadent evil exclusively here. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:

Edmonton, Alberta black/death metallers Dire Omen have teamed with BraveWords.com for an exclusive stream of new song "Onward with Wounds of Disillusion." The track comes from Dark Descent Records release Wresting the Revelation of Futility, which will be available for mass consumption on November 12. Listen to the song right friggin' here.
Characterized by a progression towards the chaotic, opaque darkness that now permeates their sound, the history of the Canadian black/death metallers has led to the establishment of an undeniable identity, most evident on this debut album. Utilizing abyssal, morose imagery combined with a strong sense of Thelemic ritualism, Dire Omen has developed a unique take on the black/death genre.
The album will come housed in an upgraded stock digi-jacket with a poster fold out that includes lyrics.
Pre-order Wresting the Revelation of Futility at this location.

2015 increasingly promises to be another prolific year, as Nuclear War Now! proudly announces the signing of Infra, the second in a recent series of auspicious additions to its roster. As natives of Portuguese soil, the members of Infra had previously corrupted the outermost reaches of the Iberian Peninsula with their sonic atrocities for years, albeit in other separate deployments and under different guises. Now, for the first time, its members have conspired as this singular unit to record Initiation on the Ordeals of Lower Vibrations, a 7” EP to be released on January 15th, 2015 via Nuclear War Now! At its onset, with ominously tolling bells, this recording beckons the listener to enter its halls of impurity and worship the bleak soundscape of death metal that ensues. As uneasy as one may be to accept this invitation, the urge is not likely to be quelled and is soon rewarded in kind. With its combination of adept tempo changes and prominent low-end growl, Infra's Initiation on the Ordeals of Lower Vibrations masterfully weaves a tapestry that repeatedly and mercilessly tiptoes back and forth across the fine boundary between disorientation and satiation, confusion and bliss. After only just over 12 minutes of music, the listener is likely to find oneself straddling this very boundary, eagerly awaiting whatever is to come next. Cover and tracklisting are as follows:
